End of summer and a new website!

What are you doing to enjoy the last bit of summer??

I am excited to have one last trip to the beach with my family in a couple weeks, but can't believe how fast this summer passed us by! We usually go camping at least 3-4 times and we haven't been once! We usually have a BBQ or two on days other than holidays and again, not one! Life has been more busy this summer and it doesn't seem to be slowing down anytime soon. I hope you are all well and settling into the routine of kids going back to school and summer coming to an end. Bummer!

Also, my dear friend Emily Freeman has just launched her new website... go check it out and say "hi".

www.emilyfreeman.com

She is an amazing writer and the thoughts, moments, etc... she just posted are no exception.

If you have any ideas to improve the function of the website let me know, I can pass them along.

Enjoy the last couple weeks of summer!!

Finished project

I know you have all been patiently waiting for the finished product. Well here it is!

It turned out pretty nice don't you think?

Brad was curious... how many of you would buy something like this? If so, how much would you pay for it?

Father of the Bride....

Ok... did anyone else just LOVE this movie when they were younger? The first time I saw it, I remember thinking.. I hope I meet a guy like Brian MacKenzie he is soooo cute! I was a senior in high school when this movie came out and well.. it took me 12 more years to find my "Brian MacKenzie" but it was well worth the wait!

So, last Thursday while I was walking around the Gateway mall I saw and said "hi" to George Newbern (Brian MacKenzie, pictured below). Very uneventful but brought back some great memories of watching this movie over an over during my early twenties. BTW: He still looks pretty good! Apparently he is filming a new movie here in Utah.
I just thought I would share this random tidbit of info as a blog entry this week. I do have most of the pictures uploaded from Day 2 of our Maui trip but haven't had a chance to get them posted. Hopefully by Thursday.
As cheesy as this is...does anyone else have a star sighting to share?
